On January 7, 2025, a dialogue took place at the Faculty of Economics, Ryukoku University, in the bone-chilling cold of Kyoto. In our contemporary world, economic discussions on poverty and prosperity have once again intersected with political debates on war and peace. This intersection presents an opportunity for a major intellectual paradigm shift and the emergence of possibilities for co-creating the future. I would be delighted if young people could come to understand this potential.
