Aren&#8217;t we all refugees?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This was my third visit to Wayo Kudan. Words like these, spoken by a student during our dialogue, gave me (Toda) a great deal to think about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The students I talked with this time will graduate next spring from the school they have known for so long, and each will move on to the next step. What paths will they choose?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is up to each of them. But if I may ask one thing, I hope they will keep it in mind: there are people in this world, about as many as the entire population of Japan, who have left their homes and their countries and are struggling to survive in order to protect what is precious to them.
