“KIZUKI Report on a visit to a school in Tangail, Bangladesh”

バングラデシュ国タンガイル県における中学生との対話場面

On 18 May 2024, two Japanese members of Forum 2050 and local support staff visited Dr Ayesha Razia Khondaker School & College in Mirzabul, Tangail District, about 60 km northwest of Dhaka, Bangladesh in South Asia and gave a special class as part of our IMAGINE & KIZUKI project.

Thirty mixed gender students from grades 8 and 9 gathered on a holiday Saturday. Visiting Japanese staff asked to the students the two key questions raised by Forum 2050: ‘What is a better future?’ and ‘What do you want to do to make it happen?’

We will continue the dialogue every 2-3 months to facilitate the changing of children’s thoughts.
