On October 28, 2024, under the theme “Ongoing Progress Until Death – From International Cooperation to Co-creating the Future,” Representative Toda engaged in a dialogue with students from Yakushima Oozora High School. In addition to live participants, well over a thousand students joined remotely. Among the feedback received from students was this reflection:
“I regretted being absent from school during middle school, but at this high school, I want to challenge myself so that I don’t end up leaving my regrets as they are. (…) Even as an adult, I want to continue having imagination for the future.”
