Event Report: Dialogue Sessions at Two Schools in Rajbari District, Bangladesh

バングラデシュ・Rajbari県の学校2校での対話集会

On September 13, 2025, we are pleased to report that our organization’s staff conducted dialogue sessions at two schools in Bangladesh, South Asia.

Char Chandpur Government Primary School: This integrated elementary and junior high school welcomed approximately 200 out of 250 total students, despite the session being held on a holiday morning. The dialogue session was conducted in the largest classroom with about 50 students from grades 6-8 (equivalent to Japanese junior high school grades 1-3). Our staff posed two questions: ①What would you like the world to be like around 2050? ②What will you do to achieve that? Five students came forward and shared their opinions using a microphone. The session was so engaging and enjoyable that afterward, our staff was overwhelmed by students wanting to shake hands.

Suraj Mohini Institute School & College: Despite being held on a holiday afternoon, approximately 500 out of 1,100 total students and all 25 faculty members gathered. After our staff conducted 5-minute exchange sessions in each classroom, we held a dialogue session in the auditorium with about 200 students, primarily from grades 7-9 (equivalent to Japanese junior high school grade 2 to high school grade 1). After showing our organization’s introduction video, our staff posed the same two questions, and three students came forward to share their opinions. Following this, there were concluding speeches from a university professor from Dhaka who had introduced us to the school and the school principal, making it a grand event.
