Participated as a panelist at Suginami Mayor Kishimoto’s “Kikku-off Meeting” in my local community, where half the participants were randomly selected residents. Touched by her vision to “update democracy” and confirmed our shared commitment to “passing a peaceful future to the next generation.”
Two 2.5-hour sessions in one day, with the mayor fully engaged throughout—her energy was eye-opening, leaving no room for fatigue. Grateful for these inspiring encounters, viewing them as a vital step toward rooted local activities.
