On November 22, 2024, Representative Toda delivered a lecture on “The Meaning of Life” at his alma mater, Osaka City Sanryo Junior High School. Of course, it’s not possible to provide a definitive answer in such a class. Rather, it was an opportunity to expose the students to the ongoing life experience of an adult, offering them material for reflection.
Life is interesting… This sensation arises from connections with diverse people. If even one more child realizes the importance of this, it would be wonderful. Not only for that person’s happiness, but because the accumulation of such realizations becomes the foundation for a peaceful future.
