On December 14, 2024, I had the opportunity to give a lecture on the theme “Science and Technology, War and Peace, and Co-creating the Future” at a special event of the Musashi Academy RED Program. The RED Program is designed for middle and high school students aspiring to become globally active scientists, attracting participants from outside Musashi Academy as well. Today, I engaged in a dialogue with nearly 180 people from multiple generations, including parents.
It is humans who utilize science and technology for good. It is also humans who misuse it. It is humans who wage war, or create peace. And it is we, humans, who will create the future.
