On October 31, at the “Ikikata Koza” (life-skills lecture) of Seto City Hatayama Junior High School in Aichi Prefecture, TODA Takao spoke to about 150 students, second-year students and students in the special needs class. In a dialogue format, he talked with the students about world affairs and contributing to society, under the theme “Who Creates the Future? What Never Runs Out, However Much We Share It or Use It?”
The talk gave students a chance to think about their own futures and their roles in the world, and the changes between the surveys before and after were very interesting.
Forum2050 is looking for schools to host “Kizuki,” a workshop that connects children with the world and renews their hopes for peace.
Please feel free to contact us through our inquiry form.
What is the “Kizuki” Project?
A workshop that connects children with the world and renews their hopes for peace
Working closely with schools and others, we are running workshops in many places where children notice their connections with the world and imagine the world of the future.
We connect multiple schools and other places around the world across borders and language barriers, and create spaces where children actively learn about the future of the world. Through this process, the children’s “voices” are shared and made visible as “collective wisdom” on an archive and platform.
