Bridging to the Future: Dialogues Built with 1000 Students at Wako International High School in Saitama Prefecture

At Saitama Prefectural Wako International High School, Forum2050 representative Mr. Toda conducted an international understanding lecture, engaging in dialogue about the future with approximately 1000 students.

The students embarked on a journey of exploration into the meaning of living in the international community and pondered about the future world through imaginative trips to current Palestine/Israel issues and the year 1978 Cambodia.

The students attentively listened to the lectures and engaged in deeper dialogue through numerous questions.

In the afternoon session, further dialogues were held over lunch and open chats, delving into more thoughts and inquiries.

If this lecture has broadened the students’ international perspectives and served as a catalyst for taking a step towards the future, we would be delighted.

Forum2050 is currently seeking schools to host the ‘Kizuki’ workshop, which aims to foster connections with the world and renew aspirations for peace.

We believe it is our mission to provide an environment where the next generation of leaders can fully realize their potential in addressing international issues.

Please feel free to contact us through the inquiry form for further discussion.

What is the ‘Kizuki’ Project?

Workshops to Renew Aspirations for Peace and Foster Global Connections

Through close collaboration with schools, we will conduct workshops where children become aware of their connections with the world and contemplate the future.

These workshops will bridge multiple school settings worldwide, transcending borders and language barriers, to create active learning environments for children towards the future world.
The ‘voices’ of these children, expressed through these processes, will be visualized as ‘collective knowledge’ in our archives/platform.
