On September 30, 2024, at an event commemorating the 70th anniversary of ODA (Official Development Assistance) held at JICA Yokohama, Representative Toda gave a lecture. Participants ranging from middle school, high school, and university students to senior citizens engaged in a dialogue about lessons from lesser-known international cooperation efforts and how to co-create the future based on these insights. Young people’s energetic comments stood out, with remarks such as “First, I want to learn about global issues as something that concerns me personally” and “It’s important to use our imagination to the fullest extent.”
